Selah's Diary

My encounter with this thing they call Corbin.

My first encounter with Corbin was when we were both just little guys. He trapped me in my own cage and continually tried to rub his head on me. I wasn't too fond of him at first.

This past week Mom & Dad let him visit again! I'm not sure if I am supposed to play with this thing or run from it. I just know I don't like Veggie Tales.

Stirred up,

The Early Bird gets the Worm

I LOVE mornings. You know, I say why snooze when there is a world waiting outside my doorstep to sniff?  My parents always want to sleep in on Saturday mornings; so boring. Don't they know it is my favorite day of the week because the whole fam is home. Who can blame a pooch for wanting some good ole quality time? So in order to get the two bums to rise and shine, I just lay my head on the side of their bed and sing softly to them. Take it from me, persistency is key, I don't stop until they both get out of bed and personally greet me. They may not want to admit it, but I'm the boss of the hot sauce.

See you on the Sidewalk,

Selah's Diary: Confessions

This has become my new favorite hobby while my Dad takes a shower. If it would stop raining I could get all this pent up energy out.

Shamefully,

The Diary of Selah

Entry One: My prank on Mom & Dad.

I pulled the funniest prank on Mom and Dad yesterday morning. I chose just the right time: 5:30am. Here's what I did: I laid my cute little head on the side of the bed and started whining like I needed to go out to potty, I do this every morning but I usually wait until 8:30. Then I did it. I let out a terrible toot.  Now I have some pretty stinky doggy farts, but this was the mother of them all. It stunk up the whole apartment working just as I planned. Mom jumped out of bed waking Dad up, and they began looking around for poop. They looked everywhere, they were so sure I had an accident in the apartment. They looked in the bathroom, under the bed, and in my cage. Then, the highlight of my prank, was when they started to blame each other. It was hilarious. I got Dad to take me outside and I barely pooped. It was totally worth having to stay in my cage the rest of the morning. I love pranks just like Mom.
